ICON Art Radio We aired our first half-hour show in the fall of 2006, and we've broadcast nearly 200 shows since then. Hosts Allen Cobb and Bill Teeple discuss the arts, the nature of creativity, the role of art in society and in personal life, and the experience of creators, gallery goers, patrons, and collectors. Interviews with artists from all fields provide a rich counterpoint to the ideals of the "Fairfield School," as well as insights into the real-world process of practicing the arts in the twenty-first century. KRUU-LP 100.1 FM (kruufm.com) The show currently airs at 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings, with a rebroadcast at 8:00 AM on Wednesday mornings. If you're in the Fairfield area, you can pick up KRUU-LP at 100.1 on your FM dial. KRUU-LP is the only non-profit, solar- powered, community-supported, commercial-free, all-volunteer, grass- roots radio station in the world. It is also the most hyphenated. All KRUU programming can be streamed live.
